The file names encode the date (yyyy-mm-dd) and the kind of data acquisition (HO: human operator, MUSE: automatic, usind the Cell Analyzer machine).
The *-MUSE.txt files are actually .CSV files; they had to be renamed for this repository.


Columns in the *-HO.xlsx files:

1. ExpID:      The ordinal number of the manual cell counting
2. Preparator: The initials of the researcher who prepared the cells for the counting
3. Counter:    The initials of the researcher who counted the cells
4. CountNr:    1 for the upper, 2 for the lower Neubauer chamber
5-12. Qn_*:    The number of viable ("live") and dead cells counted in the n-th quadrant


Columns in the *-MUSE.txt files:

1. Sample No.: The ordinal number of the counting for the respective cell sample
2. Sample ID:  The initials of the researcher who prepared the cells and the ordinal number of the counting

6. Viable:     The number of viable cells counted

8. Viable:     The computed concentration of viable cells in the sample
9. Dead:       The computed concentration of dead cells in the sample
