The Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf, the University of Siegen and the University of Wuppertal have concluded a cooperation agreement in the fields of digital long-term archiving and research data management. At these universities, the Information and Media Technology Centers and the University Libraries work together to build service and IT infrastructures for long-term preservation of digital content and research data management. Distributed storage of data at three locations ensures secure storage. The involvement of the archivists should also ensure an interface to the university archives.
